Welcome History 17A students!
Many adjunct students comment that one hour in the group meeting is not enough time to cover all the the materials and questions. Here is a place for you to extend the group conversation by posting questions, answers, and comments for your group members and your tutor. Some students may want to use this board to plan extra group meeting or arrange a time to review for a test.
HOW TO POST:
- Scroll to the text box below the last message on this page
- Type your message
- Click on the Post Response button.

Hi Adjunct Skills History 17A Students!
This is Stephanie, (Supplemental Instructor for Dr. David Howard-Pitney) I look forward to using this discussion board to view and answer your questions. How do people set an agenda for Dr. Howard-Pitney's class? It seems like it would be difficult considering you follow his notes, and he sometimes skips through pages.
Does anyone know of any fun ways to conduct a group session? My students prefer to go over the notes term by term, but for future groups I would like to hear some ideas.
Does anyone ever read the book during group or do people find it more efficient to go over course content and leave the reading to the students to do on their time?
