"Have I told you about the tenssion of opposite?" he says.
The tension of opposite?
"Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bbound to do somthing else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anthing fro granted."
"A tenssion of opposite, like a pool on a rubber band. Anod most of us live somewhere in the middle."
Sounds like a wrestling match, I say.
"A wrestling match." He laughs. "yes, you could decribe life that way."
So which side wins, I ask?
"Which side wins?"
He smiles at me, the crinkled eyes, the crooked teeth.
"Love wins. Love always wins."
This is a book I wish I can take it with me to wherever I go. I feel I hear the book talking to me. When listening to Morrie talking to his student, Mitch, I wish I am also one of his students, gets to ask him questions that obsess me. It reminds me of lots of teachers I have, all of them very good. I feel the good teachers become part of me in my life. You can never say when their influences stop in your life, because they never will.
