Finally, Harry Potter.
There are somethings I enjoyed and some I didn't.
I like the bird, the one who carried Sirus Black to fly away. It's the cutest in Harry Potter movie.
I like the scene when Potter bowed in front of the bird, and the bird also bowed to him. They get along friendly, and soar in the sky. It's a typical "respect" scene. But instead of the respect between people, it is the respect between a person and a monster. Even a monster is approchable if you show your respect, but sometimes people don't realize how important respect is.
I like the idea that time went back and Potter ran to the forest to save Sirus Black. Harry Potter thought his father was chasing the dementors away and protecting him. But when time went back, he found out that he himself did it instead of his father. It's a pretty sophisticated idea, pretty cool, I think. Christian people always tell me they feel save after believing the god. It's the belief which make their attitude more positive. So facing difficulties, they have more courage and hope, and they try more. It's not just god is saving them, but they are saving themselves too.
I like how Sirus Black and Professor Lupin look like. I don't know why, faces in Harry Potter never disappointed me. Yes, this witch should be looking like this. Maybe it's because witch's face is hard to predict for me. When I'm reading the book, people have the bodies, but are faceless. So in the moive, I easily place their faces on the imagined bodies in my mind.
I like Harry Potter and Rorn. I think the most part I like about Harry and Rorn is that they are not smart. They are humble, especially Potter. Potter has the heritage to be proud of in wizard world. But he is just a normal boy, a normal kid in school, hanging around with kids from poor families. He gets bad scores, too. For lots of time, he is confused about himself and has to ask professors for help. Hei, this boy makes me love him more because he is humble.
Ok, the very first thing I don't like is the new actor for the headmaster. His face is fatter, and of less wisdom. But I know it's pretty hard for a second person to play the role someone has just done. I will accept it.
The second thing is professor Snap's face is also fatter, and he has no excuse.
The third, and the most, is that the movie doesn't explain clearly the relationship among the four old gangs, Lupin, Sirce Black, Peter Petter, and Potter's father. They were once the best friends in the school, also the most brilliant students. They invented the map so they could disguise themselves as animals and sneak into the village to play. Later, Peter Petter sold the Potter family to "you know who" and spreat out rumor saying it's Sirus who did it. Since Harry Potter's parents' death, Sirus is put into jail and blamed by the wizard world. I know I didn't explain it clearly either, I read the Chinese version like two years ago and barely remember anything. But I sort of expected the director inseerting a little piece about what happened when Potter's father was a student. The first two moives did it and I think it helped a lot.
