How to activate blogs (News Item) on your homepage?

First, make sure to be login by going to: http://group.deanza.fhda.edu/your_name/member/login
Second, go to your Prefs page where you will be able to change all your website: http://group.deanza.fhda.edu/your_name/admin/sitePrefs/default$welcome
Third, follow these steps:
- Go to Prefs => News Item
- Do you want the News Items feature enabled? (yes)
- Do you want your home page organized by news days? (yes)
- Do you want to enable comments by default? (yes)
