"As for your dog-killing driving, hahaha, that's kinda messed up foo." - Bryan Chung

Are you saying that you would swerve your car off the road and run it into a steel pole, and risk your own life together with any passengers you have with you, or any pedestrians that may be walking on the sidewalk, just to avoid that little puppy? I am pretty sure I'd just run it over, and perhaps I'd pull over to the side after that to check whether I dirtied my wheels. Sure, I probably would not go looking for a puppy to run over, or any other animal for that matter, and my dog killing ways was not my point anyway, it was the fact that people fight so much for the rights of animals and do so little for other people.

On to another subject. Today I over heard a group of people discussing politics, and I must say, I totally agreed with most of the things they said. Their topic of choice was the rights of illegal immigrants. I personally do not think illegal immigrants should have any rights whatsoever, except to be fed and sent back to their own home country. Maybe my home country, Singapore, treats them a little harsh by jailing and caning them before deporting them, but surely they should be not given the privilege to work and have a driver's license. That is just encouraging them to sneak in, and assuring them that their life here will be made easier. Is not the government's duty to their people? They should just deport these illegal immigrants, because they are taking up jobs and resources that could be redirected towards the legal residents of the country. Then there is the question of those that have set up a family here, and have kids. I guess there is no easy answer, perhaps it would be could to be... sympathetic towards this group, but what is to stop others from quickly having kids so they would not be deported? Since the parents brought them into this world knowing fully well that they may be caught and shipped off anytime, it is their responsibility to take care of them. Maybe if they have been productive and contributed to the welfare of the nation, then perhaps allowing them to stay could be considered. But if all they have been doing is bumming around and causing trouble, then off they should go, not to jail because that would take taxpayers money, but back to their home country and whatever fate may await them.
