About me
My name is Lilya Mitelman. This is my first year at De Anza College and I am 18 years old. I've lived in the San Jose/Cupertino area since 1997, when I was in 6th grade.
I attended Lynbrook High School, Miller Jr. High and Meyerholz Elemenatry School in West San Jose.
Before I moved to San Jose I lived in several states and countries. I was born in Moscow, Russia. When I was 4 years old my family moved to Israel and when I was 9 we moved to Massachusetts. After a couple of months there, we moved to New Jersey and after a year and a half, we moved here.
College Life:
Other than the Honors Program, I am involved in various De Anza activities. I am the goalie of the Women's Water Polo team, the News Editor of the school newspaper, La Voz, and a member of the Outdoor Club.
