HONORS OFFICERSThe Honors Program has nine officers as follows:
President - Responsible for leading the entire Honors Student Council; this includes duties such as coordinating regular meetings, creating a vision for the school year (with the help of other officers), and representing the Honors Program at any events requiring a student speaker.
CURRENT PRESIDENT: Andy Ngo
Executive Vice President – Works closely with the President and fills in for the President whenever necessary.
CURRENT EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT: Abel Hailemariam
Vice President of Academics – Responsible for concerns related to the academic aspects of the Honors Program such as interaction with faculty and curriculum facilitators, planning academic workshops, etc.
CURRENT VP OF ACADEMICS: Jacqueline Do
Vice President of Administration – Responsible for administrative concerns of the Honors Program such as orientations, registration procedures, application procedures, future officer elections, student satisfaction surveys, and other Honors Program office procedures.
CURRENT VP OF ADMINISTRATION: Monica Wongkar
Vice President of Alumni – Responsible for communicating and networking with Honors Program alumni
CURRENT VP OF ALUMNI: Jhoana Diaz
Vice President of Communication – Responsible for marketing the Honors Program and communicating important information/events to Honors students including the Honors newsletter.
CURRENT VP OF COMMUNICATION: Terrence Leung
Vice President of External Relations – Responsible for assisting in maintaining public relations with external organizations such as transfer institutions and external Honors councils.
CURRENT VP OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS: Kiran Singh
Vice President of Finance - Responsible for all financial aspects of the Honors Program Student Council budget including fundraising efforts
CURRENT VP OF FINANCE: Maya Bhattacharya
Vice President of Student Life – Responsible for planning social and extracurricular events and maintaining the Honors Program lounge.
CURRENT VP OF STUDENT LIFE: Tiara Hudyana
