I love this quote. How many of us can honestly say we have never caused pain to another human being in the name of love? How many of us did it with full knowledge of what we were doing? While I do not necessarily consider myself vindictive and cruel, I will admit to having participated in a few "clandestine maneuvers." I am not necessarily proud of them, but I am not ashamed either. I have learned from them and I have come to accept them, yet I stand firm in my belief that I will NEVER marry a man.
